Just a few simple rules so that all goes smoothly...
Basic Role-playing
1. No godmoding (This is a must. Only play your character/s) The only exception is when your character is attacking or interacting with a non-character person (e.g. vampire/werewolf feeding)
2. No killing of other member’s characters without their permission. If a character has been posted on the ‘Character Deaths’ thread then feel free to do away with them (as long as it coincides with the general plot and the sub-plots)
3. Please ensure each RPing post is of a significant size. One liners are too difficult to play off of. If you're having trouble posting at least a small paragraph, think about what your character can see and feel. What s/he is wearing, doing and saying.
4. Vampires are allowed to drink the blood of a non-character human (who they can play), but if that human is turned or if you would like that human to become part of the plot, then that person must be placed on the Character Request board
5. All role-play posts must be written in past tense and in the third person.
6. Characters are allowed to play as many different places as you wish, but don't go overboard.
7. Celebrity Claiming is a must.
8. No registered supernatural creature can hold property. If they wish to own a shop/restaurant etc, they must lease it off a human landlord.
9. You may not post threads directly onto the Twilight Plaza and Clubs && Pubs boards, you must post onto a sub-board.
10. Posting straight onto the boards of Town Center, The Suburbs, and Twilight Apartments should be considered for threads that take place around the sub boards.
e.g. Walking and talking in the hallways of Twilight Apartments.
OR
Around the courtyards of the Town Center.
General Forum Rules
1. You may only have five characters at any one given time. If you're at your maximum and would like another one, you will have to roleplay an unwanted character out of the game. If you have multiple characters, at least one of them must be a canon.
2. Once you’ve finished your character application, your character’s name should be used as your display name (whether you do so before or after your application has been accepted is your choice)
3. Please keep it PG-13 (this goes for both roleplay and general forum talk) Not too much violence or swearing. And please keep sex to a bare minimum (e.g. kissing, hugging, etc)
4. Be polite! Rudeness is not accepted in out-of-character chat. If your character is rude, that’s fine, but don’t go around insulting other members.
5. Banners must not be any larger than 600 pixels wide x 300 pixels high.
6. Use proper spelling and grammar. No text talk please, its annoying and difficult to read.
7. Please wait until your character's application has been accepted by at least two staff members before posting in any of the roleplaying threads.
8. Please stay on topic.
