OK... As some of you may know, I don't have a graphics program, as photoshop would be difficult to get, and I haven't heard of many others. However, I did hear of one program, GIMP. When I visited the site, I, being graphics-inept, didn't really understand it. So, I was wondering if anyone knew about this program and could tell me anything about it. Such as: How to use it Whether it really is free Whether it has requirements for downloading, etc.

Vara uses GIMP. It's really free. Just download the program first. It will appear in your desktop once you're done downloading. Click to install and GIMP is ready for you to use!
I also have GIMP at my computer, but I don't use it all the time

Yup definatly free, I had it about 2 years ago a few months after I started rping, but like you I didn't have a clue what to do really. I use photoshop now, had it for about a year its real good, a real bargain for £0.00 Keygens rule...

Thanks for the info, y'all! As for photoshop, I REALLY can't use it, no matter how cheap it is. I have a limited time on the computer anyway, so I usually don't spend any money on it.

GIMPshop takes a little while to get used to. It's not as good as Photoshop, but it can make good enough graphics (almost all of mine were made using GIMPshop) if you get the hang of it. So if you do decide to download it, I can try to help you out if you need any. =)
